This iconic werewolf film from 1981 is a classic horror/comedy. When it comes to makeup, graphics, or CGI-related effects, werewolf movies can be offensive. Additionally, werewolves today are not as frightening as they once were. However, the most uncomfortably graphic transformation of a human into a werewolf occurred in London with an American Wolf. It deserves to be on Shudder because it has been ingrained in our minds.

Two American college students taking a walking tour of London, England are the subject of this 1980s movie. David receives a bite from the wolf that attacks them, but his friend Jack perishes. David experiences frequent Jack-related nightmares in which he is warned that he is turning into a werewolf. ‘Brooklyn 45’ Trailer: A Shudder Original Movie

June 12

Despite having its world premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, this movie wasn’t released until 2017. A struggling painter who enjoys heavy metal music is possessed by Satanic forces in this film after he and his family move into their dream home in a rural Texas community.

Even though this movie isn’t as intense as Sean Byrne’s earlier works, like The Loved Ones, it’s still unsettling in its own right. Particularly considering the upsetting and strongly implied idea that the Devil’s candy in this film is children. For fans of the genre and heavy metal music, this bloody horror film is recommended. Even though it isn’t a brand-new movie, Shudder will debut it this June.
